Nadine Mundo is an Afro-Puerto Rican and Jewish, Los Angeles based editor. Her forte is creating emotionally provocative and stylistically nuanced non-fiction stories. Nadine’s work has premiered on A+E, BET, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, ESPN, CNN and Showtime, as well as numerous film festivals worldwide. She has edited feature films, TV series, documentaries, short films, commercials and branded content.
Recently, Nadine was an editor on Secrets of Sextapes, an 8 episode documentary series debuting on A+E in 2024. She edited In Her Element, a BET music documentary which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival and won the Reel South Award at Nashville Film Festival. The narrative feature film that she edited, City of Love was released on AppleTV and won best film at New Jersey International Film Festival. She was an editor on Flowers, a YouTube Originals 3 episode documentary series about Black creatives, for Breakwater Studios. Nadine edited and directed the CNN Films short documentary A Field Between, produced by Film45. The film premiered at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity and won a Voice of a Woman award.
Nadine edited short documentary films for ESPN’s 30 for 30, including Rowdy Ronda Rousey. which became the most viewed short in ESPN history. She went on to edit What Makes Us, a 5 part documentary series about elite female athletes for ESPN. She edited and directed the feature documentary, American Commune, which premiered to critical acclaim at HotDocs International Film Festival and was released on Amazon Prime.
In addition to her documentary and film work, Nadine edits for commercial brands including Pepsi, Beats By Dre, Timex, Adobe Max, InStyle and Verizon. She edits branded content for Breakwater Studios, YouTube, Art21, Tastemade, Vice+, Snapchat, Malka Media and Uproxx. Nadine is proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer editing software.
